


Ski Touring Options
Rogers Pass Glacier National Park (Canada)
Rogers Pass in Glacier National Park offers many great options to suit any ability level. With classic tree and glade skiing areas close to the highway such as Mcgill Shoulder, Grizzly Shoulder, NRC and many other areas. Or the open alpine glaciated runs in the Asulkan valley, Swiss Peaks or Bruins Pass to name a few. Typical day trips can range from 4-8 hrs skiing laps in the trees or big 8-12 hr days skiing off multiple peaks later in the season when days are longer. Overnight options do exist with two beautiful Alpine Club of Canada huts located in the area. Also, for the brave of heart backcountry overnight camping is possible.
Revelstoke Area
Within a 20 minute drive in all 4 directions from town numerous options exist. Skiing off the highway near town can be a real gem when conditions allow. Starting at lower elevations usually means we need colder temps with late December to mid-February usually producing the best conditions. Many great ski tours and backcountry options exist within the area. Helicopter accessed trips are possible, ask for more information. Revelstoke is a very popular ski touring area and often its recommended to book your guides in advance. If we are fully booked we will do our best to find an available guide in our area that is home to many ACMG Ski/Mountain Guides.
